Product Overview
NE Series Plate-Chain Bucket Elevators are designed for the vertical conveying of medium-sized and large lump materials, as well as abrasive materials such as fly ash, limestone, cement clinker, gypsum, lump coal, crushed stone, and slag, at material temperatures of up to 250°C.
The elevator uses high-strength plate chains made of high-quality alloy steel, providing excellent wear resistance and reliable operation. The drive system is equipped with a hardened-gear reducer. The elevator adopts inflow feeding and gravity discharge.
Featuring smooth and reliable operation, excellent sealing performance, low environmental impact, easy operation and maintenance, long service life, and energy-efficient performance, NE Series Plate-Chain Bucket Elevators are widely used in the mining, metallurgy, building materials, coal, hydropower, and other industries.
Working Principle
The elevator adopts inflow feeding. Material flows directly into the buckets and is lifted to the head section by the plate chains. At the top of the elevator, the material is discharged automatically under the force of gravity.
Product Features
1. Wide range of capacities.
The series is available in multiple models ranging from NE15 to NE800, with conveying capacities from 15 to 800 m³/h.
2. Low drive power requirement.
The elevator adopts inflow feeding and gravity discharge, together with closely spaced, large-capacity buckets. This design enables high conveying capacity at a low chain speed. During operation, there is virtually no material backflow or scooping, which minimizes power losses. As a result, power consumption is approximately 70% of that of a conventional round-link chain bucket elevator.
3. Long service life.
The inflow feeding design minimizes squeezing and impact between materials. The elevator is designed to minimize material spillage during feeding, lifting, and discharge, thereby reducing mechanical wear. The conveying chains are high-strength, wear-resistant plate chains, which significantly extend service life. Under normal operating conditions, the conveying chains can provide a service life of more than five years.
4. High lifting height.
The casing is formed by stamping, and the intermediate casing sections are reinforced with four ribs and fully welded. This construction provides high overall rigidity and excellent sealing performance, effectively reducing dust leakage and environmental pollution.
5. High operating reliability.
The advanced design ensures reliable operation of the entire machine, with a trouble-free operating time of more than 30,000 hours.
6. Easy operation and maintenance.
The elevator has few wear parts, is easy to operate and maintain, and offers low operating and maintenance costs.
Main Structure
- The NE Series Plate-Chain Bucket Elevator mainly consists of the conveying assembly, drive unit, head section, intermediate casing sections, and boot section.
- Conveying Assembly — Consists of buckets and specially designed plate chains. Models NE30 and below use a single-row chain, while models NE50 through NE800 use double-row chains.
- Drive Unit — A variety of drive configurations are available according to customer requirements. The drive platform is equipped with a maintenance frame and safety railing. The drive unit is available in either left-hand or right-hand configurations.
- Head Section — Equipped with chain guide rails for double-row chain models, a backstop, and an anti-backflow plate at the discharge outlet.
- Intermediate Casing Sections — Selected intermediate casing sections are equipped with chain guide rails on double-row chain models to prevent excessive chain movement or lateral swinging during operation.
- Boot Section — Equipped with a tensioning system, such as a counterweight-type tensioning device.
