Product Overview
The NE series plate chain bucket elevator is suitable for vertical conveying of medium to large block and abrasive materials (such as fly ash, limestone, cement clinker, gypsum, lump coal, crushed stone, slag, etc.), with a material temperature below 250°C. The NE series bucket elevator uses high-strength alloy steel plate chains, which are wear‑resistant and reliable. The drive unit employs a hardened gear reducer. The NE plate chain bucket elevator adopts inflow feeding and gravity‑induced discharge. It features stable and reliable operation, good sealing, low environmental pollution, easy operation and maintenance, long service life, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness. It is widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, coal, and hydropower.
Working Principle
Inflow feeding: material flows into the bucket and is lifted to the top by the plate chain, then discharges automatically under the action of gravity.
Product Features
- Wide lifting range and large conveying capacity. Available in various models from NE15 to NE800, with a conveying capacity ranging from 15 to 800 m³/h.
- Low drive power consumption. Adopting inflow feeding, gravity‑induced discharge, and densely arranged large‑capacity buckets with low chain speed and large lifting capacity. During lifting, there is almost no backflow or scooping, so power is minimal, and the power consumption is only 70% of that of ring chain elevators.
- Long service life. Inflow feeding minimizes extrusion and collision between materials. The design ensures no spillage during feeding, lifting, and discharge, reducing mechanical wear. The conveyor chain is a high‑strength wear‑resistant plate chain, significantly extending service life. Under normal use, the conveyor chain service life exceeds 5 years.
- High lifting height. The casing is formed by stamping, with four ribs in the middle section, fully welded, providing strong overall rigidity and good sealing, environmentally friendly and pollution‑free.
- High operational reliability. Advanced design principles ensure reliable operation, with a mean time between failures exceeding 30,000 hours.
- Easy operation and maintenance, few wear parts, and low operating costs.
Main Structure
- The NE series plate chain bucket elevator consists of operating components, drive unit, upper section, intermediate casing, and lower section.
- Operating components – composed of buckets and special plate chains. NE30 and below use single‑row chains; NE50 to NE800 use double‑row chains.
- Drive unit – various drive combinations are available (depending on user requirements). A maintenance platform with guardrails is installed on the drive platform. The drive unit can be left‑hand or right‑hand mounted.
- Upper section – equipped with rails (for double‑row chains), a backstop, and a anti‑spillage plate at the discharge opening.
- Intermediate section – some intermediate sections are equipped with rails (for double chains) to prevent chain swinging during operation.
- Lower section – equipped with a tensioning device (counterweight box type, etc.).
