Working Principle
The motion of the screen box is generated by the reciprocating inertial force produced as the eccentric wheel rotates around a fixed axis. Based on the structural design and operating principle of the square gyratory screen, the screening deck is typically installed horizontally or at a slight incline.
Once the machine is started, the screen box moves back and forth under the action of inertial force, driving the screening deck in a periodic reciprocating motion. Material on the deck moves together with the screen box, undergoing controlled jumping, rolling, and forward movement across the screening surface.
Particles smaller than the screen aperture pass through the openings and fall onto the lower deck as undersize material, while particles larger than the screen aperture continue to roll and move across the screen surface before being discharged through the outlet. In this way, the material is efficiently separated and classified by particle size.
