Square Swing Screen, also known as a reciprocating vibrating screen or precision vibrating screen, is a high-efficiency screening equipment featuring high precision and large capacity. It offers self-cleaning screen performance, high screen utilization, long service life, and excellent sealing. The screen surface is generally arranged horizontally or with a slight incline. The square swing screen is widely used in industries such as chemicals, new materials, carbon, graphitization, quartz sand, metallurgy, metal powders, mineral powders, food, abrasives, and more. Depending on user requirements, it can be manufactured with single or multiple screen decks. The square swing screen consists of feed and discharge ports, screen box, vibration source, and damper components. Working principle
From the perspective of the motion trajectory of the screening machine’s oscillating body—the screen box—its fundamental driving force is the reciprocating inertial force generated by the rotation of an eccentric wheel about a fixed axis. Based on the structural characteristics and operating principle of the square‑shaped shaking‑type vibrating screen, its screen surface is typically arranged horizontally or with a slight inclination. Upon startup, the oscillating body—the screen box—under the action of inertial forces executes a back-and-forth reciprocating motion, which in turn imparts a periodic rocking motion to the screen surface. As a result, the material on the screen surface undergoes directional, jumping‑type movement along with the screen box: particles smaller than the screen aperture pass through the apertures and fall onto the lower layer, becoming the undersize product, while particles larger than the screen aperture, after continuous tumbling and bouncing, are discharged from the discharge outlet, thereby completing the screening process.
